Twestival is a globally held event brought together by the twitter community to raise money for charity.

In February 2009, over 200 + cities worldwide raised $250,000 for Charity Water during Twestival. Making it possible to drink approximately 17 wells in 3rd world countries.

In September 2009, San Francisco chose OperationSmile.org as their charity to donate to, and raised $6,000 to help raise money for children with cleft lips in 3rd world countries.

San Francisco's goal is to help bring awareness to ConcernWorldWide (@concern) on March 25, 2009. Helping educate children who are in need, helping educate teachers, and build schools where needed.

Hamburg erhält wieder ein Box-Highlight! Die Fans können sich auf eine hochkarätig besetzte „Universum Champions Night“ in der Hansestadt freuen. Am 24. April steht in der Sporthalle Hamburg Dreifach-Weltmeisterin Susi Kentikian (26-0-0 (16)) im Mittelpunkt.

Die unbesiegte „Killer Queen“ aus Hamburg trifft auf die ebenfalls noch unbesiegte Herausforderin Nadia Raoui (11-0-1 (3)) aus Herne, die ebenfalls Titelträgerin ist – im weniger bekannten WIBA-Verband. Damit muss Susi Kentikian die nächste harte Prüfung im Ring bestehen. Schon in 2009 konnte die Hamburgerin mit Elena Reid und Ex-Weltmeisterin Julia Sahin zwei sehr starke Rivalinnen aus dem Weg räumen.

Susi Kentikian: „Ich freue mich immer sehr, wenn ich in meiner Heimatstadt kämpfen kann. Es wird wieder ein sehr schwerer Kampf werden. Aber das bin ich mittlerweile gewöhnt. Drückt mir alle die Daumen – am besten live!“

Das Duell um die WBA, WIBF und WBO-Gürtel im Fliegengewicht gegen die ebenso hübsche wie schlagstarke Raoui wird Susi Kentikians erster Auftritt als erste Live-Haupt-Kämpferin im ZDF sein. Susi Kentikian wurde erst vor kurzem von der Stadt Hamburg mit dem „Ehrenpreis der Behörde für Kultur, Sport und Medien“, dem sogenannten Sport-Oscar, ausgezeichnet und zur „Boxerin des Jahres 2009“ gewählt.

Das ZDF überträgt das Duell Kentikian vs. Raoui live ab 23.30 Uhr. Weitere Kampfpaarungen werden in den nächsten Tagen bekannt gegeben.
